Gotta Love It!
The books in my house are safe as I've never seen an episode of Jersey Shore, but I love this photo!

A Reason to Be Glad It's Summer!
Hi, All,
As Joni mentioned on Facebook, the Snowman is a scary book to read at bedtime! That's when I do most of my reading...and all I can say is that I'm glad it's not snowing outside... :)
So far, I'm about 37% through the (Kindle) book so I'll have lots of scary reading left for this weekend.
See you on Monday!

June's Book Club Handout
Thanks to Kim for a lovely evening for our June meeting! Here is the handout for the night, during which we discussed Kyung-Sook Shin's Please Look After Mom.
Lisa provided some great recommendations for next time, including:
Little Bee by Chris Cleave
Noah's Compass by Anne Tyler
Butterfly's Child by Angela Davis-Gardner
The Tiger's Wife by Tea Obreht
But the top vote-getter was The Snowman by Jo Nesbo. Joni will hold the next meeting and Maria will make recommendations.
Have a safe and happy 4th of July!

May's Book Club Handout
Here is the handout from the May meeting during which we discussed James Baldwin's Giovanni's Room.
The handout is a PDF I created that is perfectly safe to open.
We had an interesting discussion that night!
